Rematch developer Sloclap has made the decision to delay Patch 3 after discovering what it described as a “major matchmaking issue” during its final test. The feature was too front and center for the team to just release the patch without it.
On social media (via Insider Gaming), it was revealed the feature was “the heart” of Patch 3 and so it just made sense to delay it while the team works out the bug. This was just another time that the team delayed the title’s patch, which was previously slated for September 3 before being pushed up a day and now is sitting in limbo as it doesn’t want to share a new date in fear of not fixing it in time.
Rematch was released earlier in the year, but notably lacked crossplay and was already at a disadvantage compared to other games in a similar field, as it was always gunning to be a paid game.
