In its most recent collaboration, Godzilla has joined the Fortnite universe. Godzilla is the game’s newest villain, and since January 17 and continuing through mid-February, players can either cooperate to defeat him or, with luck, transform into the Kaiju and cause havoc. It functions rather similarly to Doctor Doom, at least mechanically.
Although it’s undoubtedly a decent collab, Godzilla’s spawn rate was quite low until Friday. Not everyone had the good fortune to encounter or transform into Godzilla, as his spawn rate was just about 20%. Fans were understandably irritated by this, and many of them called on Epic Games to increase the spawn rate to 100%. And guess what, Epic Games have heard the voices.
In an announcement on Twitter, Fortnite stated that Godzilla’s spawn rate would be 100% from Friday until the end of the weekend. Stated differently, he will participate in every game rather than just a random meeting. Additionally, Godzilla has gained additional health, which makes every encounter a little riskier.
MORE ZILLA 🚨
Starting today and through the weekend, Godzilla will terrorize the Island in EVERY match. We’re also buffing the big guy’s overall health.

As of this writing, it is unclear if Epic Games will keep that window open until the conclusion of the event. Since his presence is linked to quests, it would be logical to have him present as much as possible.
Find the beast by going to one of the unique spawn spots scattered throughout the map. These consist of Lost Lake, Hopeful Heights, Pumped Power, Seaport City, Masked Meadows, and Nightshift Forest. Although some questioned this collab at first, it avoided a massive mistake, unlike the Dr. Doom crossover.
Fortnite has been lacking these mini-events for some time. Participation in its live and mini-interactive events was always enjoyable, and it was well-known for both. But lately, their live events have lost a little of their sparkle.
Fortnite has long been renowned for its engaging events and interactive features. It’s nostalgic and exciting to watch the Godzilla event do something like that and as per the rumors, this excitement level might reach a whole new level.
Some Fortnite players may find it difficult to locate the Godzilla portal because there is no assurance of where it will spawn. And if they are lucky, they can stomp and laser their way through the new map once they’ve transformed into Godzilla. However, one player unintentionally found a glitch that allowed them to win easily.
I won a game because of a Godzilla bug that made me invincible

PhysicalSouth5562, a Reddit user, experienced the odd glitch after becoming Godzilla in Fortnite, which gave them invincibility. The player describes how they were defeated after turning into Godzilla, but rather than the match ending as it should have, they carried on moving around the map in the form of the enormous lizard-like monster.
The player claims to have suffered almost no damage as Godzilla kept moving through Fortnite‘s relentless storm fog. Due to the closing final circles, the player won their match because they were “invincible.”
So, what are you waiting for? Jump into the game to become the invincible Godzilla and get the most out of it before the developers fix the glitch. And as Epic Games has confirmed Godzilla’s entry in every match, there shouldn’t be any shortage of fun.
