- Switch tracks to keep trains safe
- Be mindful of trains arriving on time
- More than 120 levels
Developer gameaki has announced the official launch of Train Hero, out now on Android and on Steam. I don’t doubt the appeal of conducting trains and wielding the mighty power of track-laying when it comes to brain teasers, so this lovely little pixel-art puzzler is a welcome addition to the retro mobile space.
In Train Hero, you can look forward to switching tracks to make sure you keep trains safe – it’s always good practice for a train conductor to ensure that trains arrive on schedule, after all. As you progress, you’ll encounter increasingly more complicated challenges – thankfully, you can unlock power-ups too to keep collisions at bay.
There are more than 120 levels to tinker around with, with multi-language support in English, French, German, Greek, Italian and Spanish. You can also unlock new worlds as you go along – from lush greenery to arid deserts – but the goal always remains the same: keep those trains operating safely, punctually, and at maximum efficiency.
Now, if managing stuff and staying on top of daily operations is exactly your cup of tea, why not take a look at our list of the best tycoon games on Android to get your fill? Just be wary of letting the power get to your head!
In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun of being the hero of the tracks, you can do so by downloading Train Hero from Google Play. It’s free-to-play with in-app purchases. It’s available on Steam as well, and there doesn’t seem to be any indication that it will launch on iOS at the moment.
