There are only a few video game live-action adaptations that take off from the ground when released; fortunately, Fallout, which came out last year is one of them. Inspired by the video game franchise with the same name, fans have been demanding a season 2 of the show, and one of the Fallout games has the perfect content ready for that.
Including directing Fallout 4, Todd Howard is no less than a genius of a director. It is in this title that the director has placed a unique scene that not only takes your soul away but will also be the perfect horror content for the live series’ second season.
What comes next might make many of you sick to your stomach, especially for those who like to keep a distance from zombies and survival games. However, it becomes another walk-in-the-park day for Fallout 4 players when they come across this one scene in the game.
Inside the game, as the name ‘Feral Ghoul Chair’ might somewhat suggest, players can find a ghoul duct-taped permanently to a chair. Moreover, the ghoul is not able to deliver any damage at all, and the player can continue to sit on the chair as normal. It’s a true horror, and users of the game’s official subreddit agree.
Interestingly, however horror-inspiring and nightmare-inducing this chair might be for gamers, it would make perfect sense if it were to make an appearance in the live adaptation’s season two, re-introducing the game’s horror element in a new way for watchers.
Making the perfect use of the franchise’s post-apocalyptic world, the Fallout TV series stands out from the rest for all the right reasons. It became a huge hit for Amazon Prime Video when it came out in April last year, with watchers demanding a second season ever since.
Fortunately, the much-wanted sequel was announced shortly after, but it has had its own shortcomings so far. The main problem the crew has had to face so far was with the recent LA Wildfires that halted the second season’s shooting.
Furthermore, there is no timeframe yet teased for Fallout’s second season’s release, but fans have been making their own best bets. Bearing in mind that the studio would like to utilize all the hype of the show’s first season before it all eventually dies out, the most favorable time estimate for the said season’s release is late 2025 to early 2026.
