Get ready for more festival fun than ever when the Telethon Family Festival takes over the Perth CBD for the fifth year running.
The spectacle is set to turn parts of Telethon Avenue, Wellington Street, outside RAC Arena and Yagan Square into a kaleidoscope of colour on Sunday.
A key part of the festival will be putting the hard work of more than 100 Telethon beneficiaries front and centre at the APM Charity Zone.
Visitors will be able to put their balance to the test with Ocean Heroes who have set up surfboards on bosu balls to test those who dare. The public can also collect stamps along the way for a chance to win a range of prizes.
Other highlights at the charity zone include dodgeball with White Zebra, embracing your mini scientist with The Kids Research Institute Australia, and shooting goals against a Paramatildas goalkeeper with Football Futures Foundation.
The Lotterywest Kids Carnival will be action packed and feel like a Royal Show with showbag stalls, sideshow games, and free carnival rides.
And Yagan Square will be transformed into a magical fairytale land with children given the chance to dance in Prince Charming’s ballroom at the Cinderella Silent Disco, set off on Peter Pan’s treasure hunt, or try their hand at potion-making with Alice in Wonderland.
The fun continues with the pubic invited to put on their dancing shoes and take on mascots from across Perth in a dance battle like no other at the Yagan Square amphitheatre at 12.45pm.
Forrest Place will be a family-friendly hub filled with free activities for the whole family including mini golf, bouncy castles, a glitter bar and roving entertainers.
And those who need a moment to relax, the Lotterywest Chillout Zone at the corner of Wellington Street and Telethon Avenue will play host to face-painting, cuddly animals, inflatables, and free popcorn.
