Pokemon TCG Pocket celebrating new Mythical Island SP Emblem event and card giveaway

Pokemon TCG Pocket, the hit mobile adaptation of the even more famous card battler, is set to celebrate four billion cards acquired with a new giveaway. Not only that but there’s also a new Mythical Island SP Emblem event underway that’ll let you nab them for consecutive wins to show off your battle prowess.

First, the card giveaway. To celebrate over four billion (yes, billion) cards acquired you’ll be able to grab an exclusive new Pokedex card as a free giveaway; this giveaway will be available up until April 30th.

Meanwhile, the SP Emblem event will grant you new ways to show off your battle prowess based on consecutive wins. Starting off with a mere two consecutive wins for the first emblem, all the way up to five consecutive wins! You’ll be able to show off everything from a simple participation emblem all the way to a shiny gold badge on your profile.

Battle to the brink

It’s not just emblems on offer either, keep your eye out for missions that’ll let you nab Shinedust and other goodies for participating in the event! It’s little surprise that TCG Pocket has already seen so many cards unpacked in this hotly-anticipated release, or that the folks at the Pokemon Company are eager to add an enticing little giveaway to keep you playing.

As for the SP Emblem event, I expect it’s difficult to get quite the amount of kudos you would for an in-person match at your locals when you’re playing digitally, so a way to show you know your way around a Pikachu on your in-game profile is sure to be welcome.
