One lucky woman has miraculously matched seven winning numbers in Tuesday’s Lotto draw, making her Australia’s newest multi-millionaire.
The Sydney resident — who was the sole winner of the $100 million division one prize — made Oz Lotto history by becoming the largest individual winner in the draw’s history.
Lottery officials said the woman was in disbelief when she received the call about her new fortune.
“Who is this? Why are you calling this late?” she asked when being told the news.
“What the hell. Can you repeat that? Oh my god. Don’t lie to me.
“You better not be pranking me! I don’t know whether to believe you or not.”
She said the money will allow her to buy a home, take more holidays and cut back on how many days she works.
Twenty six ticket holders — including four West Aussies — also won big, each walking away with division two wins worth more than $59,000.
The winning numbers for draw #1616 are 3, 34, 35, 26, 44, 39 and 36. The supplementary numbers are 5, 45 and 6.
