ZANESVILLE − Sara E. Moore is believed to be the female who aided Shawn Pletcher after he escaped from the county jail Saturday evening, according to an announcement on the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
Chief Deputy Jeff LeCocq said Moore has been charged with obstructing justice and complicity to commit escape. Neither she nor Pletcher have been located yet.
She is described as a white female with black hair and brown eyes. Moore is 45, 5’5″ tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has has numerous tattoos including stars on both wrists and right foot. She has trust and believe on her right forearm, LIV ALLY with stars on her neck, an outlaw tattooed on her right chest, and a picture of dawn of the dead on her left upper arm.
Pletcher, 37, of Zanesville, had been detained for multiple low-level felony charges tied to drug use and tampering with evidence, Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz previously said. Pletcher was booked into the jail on Tuesday and was being held on a $100,000 bond.
He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. He has numerous tattoos covering the right side of his neck and full sleeves on both arms. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt and pants.No weapons were used during the escape and no one was injured, according to the announcement.
The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information on either Moore or Pletcher is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 740-452-3637.
