A Rochester man was stabbed during a fight as he left an urgent care center in Greece on Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The encounter occurred at the University of Rochester Medical Center Urgent Care, 2047 West Ridge Road, just before 1 p.m., officers said. A 27-year-old Rochester man had just walked out of the medical facility when he was confronted by at least one person. The two knew one another prior to the encounter.
A verbal argument escalated into a physical fight and the man was stabbed at least once in the upper body, according to Greece police. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. The man, whose name was not released, suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
No charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
Officers are investigating.
