A 22-year-old Marion man was arrested Saturday after a shooting that left two others getting treatment at hospitals for gunshot wounds.
One man, 34, was found in the roadway with gunshot wounds and was taken to Marion General Hospital and then transferred to a Columbus hospital, according to a news release from the Marion Police Department.
A 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds was taken by a private transportation to Marion General and also later transferred to a Columbus hospital, according to the report.
Both men were ported to be in stable condidtion Monday morning, according to the police.
Officers were called to a shooting early Saturday morning on Lynn Drive. The person who called in the incident reported a disturbance, and hung up without providing details, according to the report, which notes minutes later police were notified a shooting victim was being transported to Marion General Hospital and a second victim was laying on Lynn Drive.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man on charges of felonious assault.
The information has been submitted to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges.
