Genshin Impact version 5.4 arrives early next month with a new five-star character and in-game events

• Genshin Impact Version 5.4 is arriving on February 12th
• It brings the Mikawa Flower Festival and new minigames to enjoy!
• There’s also the addition of a new five-star character with Yumemizuki Mizuki

If you’ve been hankering for more Genshin Impact then don’t fret, because you won’t need to wait long to experience more of the world of MiHoYo’s flagship game! That’s because Genshin Impact version 5.4 is arriving on February 12th, complete with a new character and a new festival to experience.

Speaking of which, the Mikawa Flower Festival promises to be a great time for humans and youkai alike. This event sees Raiden Shogun attending the gathering to investigate a mysterious nightmare, but you might find yourself too wrapped up in exciting new minigames like A Little Fox’s Daydream, Bunshin Phantasm and more! You’ll earn Festival Stamps for playing these, which can be exchanged for exclusive rewards like the few four-star polearm Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.

But it’s not just festivals that are the main focus of this update! You’ll also be able to recruit the new five-star Anemo Catalyst user Yumemizuki Mizuki, the clinical psychologist and major shareholder of the Aisa Bathhouse. With plenty of skills on offer, she’ll make a worthy addition to your lineup.

Mizuki is set to debut in the first half of 5.4’s Event Wishes, alongside a rerun for Sigewinne, followed by reruns for Furina and Wriothesley in the second half! If you miss out, don’t worry, because Mizuki will also join the Standard Wish Banner after the version 5.5 update.

Speaking of additions, how about the new Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter which will let you see slice-of-life stories featuring your favourite characters? Or the new Reel AD-Venture fishing minigame? That’s on top of the new Level-Up Plans you can set for characters to learn the required materials and their sources quickly and easily.
