Fort Collins picked up its largest snowfall of the season with 5.8 inches of light, fluffy snow Saturday at the city’s official weather station on the main CSU campus.
After a slow start to the snow season, including a second straight year with no snowfall in December, the city has now received 11 inches of snow in January through Saturday, according to the Colorado Climate Center.
Average snowfall for the month is 6.7 inches.
Fort Collins should see that snow melting this week as daily high temperatures are forecast for the mid- to high 40s through the weekend.
