Activision has announced plans to launch a free Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Zombies trial.
PlayStation, Xbox and PC players will be able to try out a selection of content without charge from February 6-10.
The trial includes 10 multiplayer maps, including Bounty and Dealership, which launched last week with Season 2. Dealership is set in a car dealership, while Bounty plays out across a crime lord’s penthouse.
It also features new mode Overdrive, which Activision has described as a “charged-up twist on Team Deathmatch” in which players are rewarded stars for executing different types of takedowns.
Other multiplayer playlists and game modes available will be Nuketown 24/7, Stakeout 24/7, Gunfight, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Kill Order.
Supported Zombies maps and playlists include Season 2 addition The Tomb (Standard) and Liberty Falls (Standard and Directed Mode).
The latest entry in Activision’s shooter series was released last October for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. Notably, it was also the first Call of Duty to be available on Game Pass on day one.
It enjoyed a record breaking launch quarter for the franchise as it topped software sales on both Xbox and PlayStation, Microsoft claimed last week.
Black Ops 6 was also the best-selling game in the US last year, marking the series’ 16th successive annual number 1, according to research firm Circana.
