Astro Bot Should be a Big Enough Reason For Microsoft to Bring Back Its Forgotten IPs That Fans Are Begging For

PlayStation just dropped a new trailer for the latest Astro Bot game for PS5 and it looks absolutely stunning. The game opened up to a great response and appears to be walking towards a comfortable future.

This has managed to surface the issue with Xbox originals’ dying relevance in the gaming market. Fans are urging Microsoft to act fast and do something about it.

Astro Bot is shaping up to be PlayStation’s much-needed mascot as it unlocks the best available features of the console and its controller by making the most of them, packed neatly into fresh and exciting gameplay. The game is proof that we do not need high-budget AAA titles to make the gaming experience fun anymore.

Xbox should be taking notes and coming up with a plan to introduce new titles or reintroduce some of the previously celebrated ones from the 2000s, including Conker: Live & Reloaded and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Fans are not happy with the state of Xbox at the moment, they want to see more from it.

Many fans have been urging it to do the same as they express their concerns regarding the matter.

This should not come as a surprise, as Microsoft has been losing a fair share of its relevance to the rise of some of the other PlayStation titles as well. It would do well to reflect on how to create an impact in the gaming industry once again.

Astro Bot was introduced initially to give people a taste of the capabilities of PlayStation’s latest controller, as it was one of the initial games that were fully optimized and compatible with the haptics and adaptive triggers of the PS5 controller. It has, since launch, been able to expand the experience of playing games on the console.

It paved the way for people to experience gaming like never before and is now shaping up to become PlayStation’s much-needed mascot and the face of future gaming.

Reviewers from around the world came out all praises for the game upon its trailer launch. Francesco Destro of IGN Italy said:

Astro Bot is a very accessible and enjoyable 3D platform game, featuring gameplay full of great ideas, flawless controls, and solid graphics. It’s hard not to fall in love with it, especially if you’re new to the genre.

Jordan Biordi from CGMagazine also came out all praises for the game. He said:
