Canadian rapper and global superstar Drake has been spotted grabbing a drink with friends at a popular Perth venue.
The singer was pictured soaking up the sun while sitting outside on the Terrace Lounge at Gibney in Cottesloe.
Drake has shared his feelings about WA on his social media, writing: “Perth… who’s more hype, me or you?”.
The five-time Grammy winner then showed off his view of Cottesloe beach along with a fully stocked bar cart.
Excited Fans flocked to Gibney as word spread the popular musician was in town and Drake’s relaxed afternoon was cut short, as he was forced to leave the venue not long after arriving.
A video posted to Instagram showed Drake being escorted out by his entourage, while fans stood waving, screaming, and filming.
Drake, 38, is scheduled to perform back-to-back shows at Perth’s RAC Arena from February 4.
The performer appears to be living the high life in Australia sharing snippets of his lavish lifestyle across social media.
When he was on the east-coast Drake claimed to have hit the jack-pot scoring a $700,000 payday at Crown Melbourne’s casino.
The rapper then shared a pic of his team enjoying a sumptuous meal after scoring the winnings, which featured steaks, wine and fries among other delicious treats.
