Figuring out where to sit isn’t always easy, but Is This Seat Taken? turns that everyday challenge into a lighthearted puzzle adventure. Developed by Poti Poti Studios, this upcoming logic puzzler is heading to Steam, Google Play, and the App Store soon. A public demo will be available on PC, but mobile users will have to wait for the full release.
Is This Seat Taken? is quite literally about reading the room. Whether you’re organising a crowded movie theatre, a wedding reception, or a packed bus, your job is to arrange people based on their preferences. Some are picky about their surroundings, while others are just trying to enjoy the ride.
A party guest with a sensitive nose won’t be thrilled to sit next to someone wearing too much cologne. A sleepy traveller won’t appreciate loud music playing nearby. Each level introduces new seating dilemmas, challenging you to find the perfect arrangement.
You’ll experience this puzzle adventure through the eyes of Nat, an aspiring actor who sees a shape like themself on the big screen for the first time. Inspired to seek out their hero, Nat embarks on a global journey of self-discovery, encountering all sorts of people along the way.

The puzzles are designed to be relaxing and approachable, with no timers or leaderboards. Instead of racing against the clock, you’ll take your time, observing each scenario and making thoughtful decisions. As you progress, you’ll unlock new environments, from banquets to taxis, with even more personality-packed seating puzzles to solve.
A PC demo for Is This Seay Taken? will take place on February 10th. No news about the same for mobile, but we should know more soon. Until then, you can visit the official website for more information.
