Three more games have been added to the SNES library on Switch Online, Nintendo has announced.
Fatal Fury 2, Super Ninja Boy and Sutte Hakkun are all now available on the SNES app, which can be downloaded free from the eShop as part of a Switch Online membership.
The trio brings the total number of SNES games available on the service up to 70 in the west, with a further eight exclusive to Japan (mainly RPGs with no English translation).
Fatal Fury 2 is a SNES port of SNK‘s arcade fighting game, developed by Nova and published by Takara.
While the SNES port of the original Fatal Fury made numerous changes, such as removing the series’ trademark two-plane fighting system, the Fatal Fury 2 port is more faithful to its arcade source material, with two-plane fighting reinstated.
The game offers eight fighters to choose from, including the debut of SNK’s popular character Mai Shiranui (who is set to be added to Street Fighter 6 as a DLC guest character next month).
Super Ninja Boy was developed and published by Culture Brain in 1993, and is the seventh in the Super Chinese series of adventure games.
The game is a mix between an RPG and a beat ’em up – while the exploration sections look like a typical Square or Enix RPG, when a player gets into a random battle the action switches to a side-scrolling beat ’em up where the player has to defeat a set number of enemies to win the fight.

Sutte Hakkun is a Nintendo-published puzzle game developed by Nintendo R&D2 and Indieszero, with this Switch Online addition marking its first official release in the west. Players control a glass bird-like character called Hakkun, who can suck up coloured liquid and inject it into transparent blocks to push them in different directions.
A standard Switch Online subscription, which costs £3.49/€3.99/$3.99 for a one-month membership and £17.99/€19.99/$19.99 for a 12-month membership, gives access to libraries of NES, SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.
Players who pay extra for the Switch Online Expansion Pack also get access to Nintendo 64, Mega Drive / Genesis and Game Boy Advance libraries.
