Broome sex assault: Paul Papalia calls for witnesses to shocking rape after $250,000 reward announced

Police Minister Paul Papalia has echoed calls for anyone with information about the “shocking” violent rape of a backpacker at Cable Beach two years ago to come forward after a $250,000 reward for information was announced.

As revealed by The West Australian on Friday, WA Police announced the reward in the hope that anyone with knowledge of the incident could assist in the hunt for the depraved predator who raped a 31-year-old woman in the early hours of May 29, 2022.
