Man arrested over death of missing Khasha Smith

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman from Edinburgh.

Khasha Smith, 35, has not been seen since she appeared on a FaceTime call in October 2023, but was not reported missing until 5 January.

Police Scotland said “following extensive inquiries” Ms Smith is believed to have died, but her body has not been found.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with her death.
